What Ranch Life Has Given Our Family
When we first moved to this property in Oregon, we weren’t just looking for land. We were looking for a way of life.
One of the things that mattered most to us was finding a property where multiple generations of family could live and work together. At one point, four generations of our family shared this property together. That has shaped Riverview Ranch more than anything else.
The ranch is not simply a business venture. It’s part of the life we’re building together.
There are moments now where we sit down to eat a meal and realize that much of the food on the table came directly from this land.
The eggs.
The lamb.
The chicken.
The pork.
In those moments, gratitude becomes very tangible.
We regularly find ourselves thanking God for the immediate and visible ways He has provided for our family. There’s something deeply meaningful about watching the land produce food that nourishes both your own household and the people around you.
Riverview Ranch has also strengthened something else for us: A sense of shared purpose.
When we first started Riverview Pet Lodge years ago, we had five employees. Today, that number has grown by 250%!
The ranch feels like another extension of that same blessing. Not just providing for ourselves, but creating opportunities to bless others too.
And beyond the practical side of things, ranch life has also given us beauty. There’s peace in watching sheep graze from the house. There’s joy in seeing lambs play in the pasture. There’s satisfaction in gathering fresh eggs. There’s meaning in working the land together as a family. Riverview Ranch represents something larger than livestock. It represents provision. Stewardship. Family. And the kind of life we hoped this property could one day become.
In many ways, it feels like the fruit of years of prayer, hard work, and hope finally taking shape.
