Dog Boarding

At Riverview Kennels, Inc., our canine clients enjoy spacious, comfortable runs. Our fully heated facility will keep your pet very comfortable. Our runs are large enough that if you have more than one dog, they can easily share a run.

We have large grassy play yards that every dog enjoys three times per day as part of their stay with us. In rainy weather we do have smaller covered gravel yards that some dogs prefer to use. If your dog is friendly with others, we do put groups out for social & play time.

You may bring your pets washable bedding, treats, and toys (limit 3 please) so your pet has their familiar items. If you prefer, we have bedding we will provide to dogs who are not chewers.

We clean our facility daily for the health & well being of all our guests.

Vaccines

All animals must be up to date on their vaccines. Vaccines should be administered at least 1 (one) week prior to their stay with us. We must have written proof of vaccines, or your vet may fax your records to us.

It is your responsibility to verify that we have received any shot records before you drop your pet off. We reserve the right to decline service if shot records cannot be verified.

Shots required for Dogs: DHLPP, Bordetella (Canine Cough), & Rabies

Check-In / Check-Out

Arrival day is charged. Check-Out time Mon.-Sat. is 10:00 a.m. If you pick your pet up by 10:00 a.m. you will not be charged for that day. If you pick up after 10:00 a.m. you will be charged your current boarding rate for that day. We do charge for Sundays and Holidays.

Feeding and Medications

You may bring your pet's food with them. Special diets are not a problem.

If you do not want to bring your pets food, we will feed your pet our house food - Canidae.

If your pet is on any medications, we will try to administer them as closely to your schedule as possible. We do not charge for medications given during business hours. There is a small fee for medications given outside of business hours.

Additional Services

We also provide K-9 forest walks and personal time for your pet's enjoyment.
